Frequently asked questions

Does the map show whether a charger is free right now?

No. It helps you find a site, reported power and connectors. Check the network app or official website for current occupancy, exact pricing and session activation before travelling.

Why is downtown Montréal covered more completely now?

InfoGas supplements province-wide sources with the City of Montréal open dataset, then groups charging ports at the same location into a readable site marker.

What charging power should I choose?

Level 2 is best for longer stops. A charger rated at 50 kW or more is considered fast, but actual power also depends on the vehicle, battery and temperature.

Can I rely on the connector shown?

Use it as a first-pass filter, then confirm compatibility in the network app or vehicle manual. Community data can be incomplete or delayed.
